Campus Fee Advisory Committee (CFAC)

Students walking on campus in various directions

The Campus Fee Advisory Committee (CFAC) serves in an advisory role to the University President by reviewing campus fee proposals and ensuring that student perspectives are meaningfully considered in decisions affecting mandatory and course-related fees. The committee evaluates fee proposals to determine whether they align with university priorities, provide a clear benefit to students, and comply with applicable CSU policies. CFAC is composed of students, faculty, staff, and administrative representatives. The committee makes recommendations to the University President regarding student fee proposals. Final decisions are made by the President and the CSU Chancellor’s Office. All fee proposals are governed by CSU Executive Order 1102.
