Bio
Iole Pecora is an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineer with expertise in modeling, simulation, and analysis of complex finite element (FE) structures. She earned her Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University, focusing on dynamic load identification using optimal sensor placement. She joined the Department of Aerospace Engineering at San José State University as a lecturer in Spring 2025 and as Assistant Professor in Fall 2025.
