Anusha Yellamsetty, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology at San José State University. She is a hearing scientist and clinical audiologist whose work spans hearing science, auditory neuroscience, hearing technology, speech perception, and accessible hearing healthcare. Her research examines how auditory, cognitive, and technological factors influence communication and clinical outcomes.

Her teaching includes hearing aids, audiologic assessment, speech perception, auditory neuroscience, and research, with an emphasis on integrating scientific evidence with clinical practice. Dr. Yellamsetty is also deeply committed to student mentorship and to preparing future audiologists as thoughtful clinicians, critical consumers of research, and contributors to the advancement of hearing healthcare.
