Alisha Marie Ragland (she/her/hers) is an Indigenous archaeologist in the greater Bay Area. Her work centers an applied anthropological archaeology approach, and community based participatory research. Her experience ranges from museum exhibit design and curation, pre-colonial osteological excavation and laboratory analysis, to CRM and historical artifact analysis. Ms. Ragland received her MA in Applied Anthropology in 2018 from San Jose State University, and has been a professional California archaeologist since 2016.
