Michael Conniff, Director, is a historian of modern Latin America and has taught world history. He has created several new multi-disciplinary international programs and forged partnerships with a number of foreign universities. Jacqueline Thurston, M.A., is an artist, writer and Professor Emerita at San Jose State University. Professor Thurston is twice the recipient of National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. In the spring of 2006, she spent four months in Egypt as a Fulbright Scholar teaching and working on a creative research project. In the spring of 2008 she taught a new course "Arab American Dialogues" under the auspices of the Global Studies Program |
