NCAGE Forum-May 2008
This year’s annual NCAGE forum will be held in the University Room at San José State University on May 2, 2008 from 9:00a.m.-4:00p.m. The fees for the forum are faculty/staff: $25 and students: $10. A ravioli bar will be served for lunch in this year’s forum.
This year’s forum keynote speaker will be Colonel Sue Ann Sandusky, Commandant of the Defense Language Institute and Installation Commander at the Presidio of Monterey.
This year’s forum topics will include but are not limited to:
- Expanding Middle East Studies at SJSU on a Limited Budget
- Fulbright visiting scholars
- New course development
- Fulbright East Asian Proposal
- Riad Bahhur and Students, Joan Berezin Mini-Grant Reports
- Progress Report on a new brochure
- Accountability Issues and Professional Ethics Statements (Workshop)
- Today’s Challenge and our Response (Workshop)
We urge you to attend the forum, by filling out the Registration From found here: http://gs.sjsu.edu/NCAGE. The registration date has been extended to April 25, 2008.
