Global Studies Social/UNICEF Campaign
Trick or Treat for UNICEF was our Global Studies club’s very
first fund raiser and we are glad that we did it for the needy children around
the world. It was a very successful event and we raised almost $500 and with
the matching from The George Harrison Fund we will be contributing around $1000
for the children in need. A special thanks to the Biology Student Association,
History Department Coordinator Diana Baker, and Crystal Hupp for their
assistance. Every cents count for those kids and
the matching is still valid up to February 28, 2009. Anyone can
go to the UNICEF website and donate under the SJSU team. SJSU was named the Campus in Spotlight for our dedication and very active participation. http://inside.unicefusa.org/site/TR?fr_id=1110&pg=entry
