The community advisory committee enhances our program in important ways:
- by raising the off-campus visibility of the program and its activities
- by placing students in internships–here and abroad
- by raising funds for scholarships and student grants
- by recruiting students into the Global Studies major
- by hosting international visitors at SJSU
- by participating in public forums
- by representing the program at special functions
