  Keynote Address
     Keynote Speaker: 

Senator Jack Scott (Pasadena). Senator Scott has been a great advocate for education. In the California State Senate, he is on the Budget Committee (where he Chairs the Sub-Committee on Education), he Chairs the Education Committee (where he also Chairs the Sub-Committee on Higher Education), he was on the Select Committee on International Trade, and he is currently serving on the Select Committee on College and University Admissions and Outreach. He has a Ph.D. in History. He has served as a professor and administrator at Pepperdine University and he has been President of two colleges (Cypress College and Pasadena City College).
