You are encouraged to submit papers or presentations at the next NCAGE Forum which will be held at Sacramento City College on November 3-4, 2005.
*Please note: student papers are encouraged, especially for the afternoon break-out sessions
Presentations:
Panelists are invited for two morning discussions.
- The first will be Models for Collaboration: Efforts at Collaboration, Examples of Success. How are you building ties with other institutions in your area or overseas? What can we learn from your experience and your successes (or frustrations)?
- The second will be a discussion of Grants and Funding. As everyone scrambles for skimpy budgetary dollars, we increasingly look to grants for our programs and for our students. This session will focus on sources and strategies.
Papers are invited for four afternoon sessions (two sets of two break-outs).
- Recruitment of students (and careers students might consider as they pursue Global Education).
- Students’ perspectives: What should global education be? (Papers could be on specific topics, areas, or general education theory)
- Study abroad options (innovative approaches to study abroad)
- Topics in Global Education (open panel for papers from faculty and students).
Deadline for proposals is September 30, 2005
